About Dr. Jessica Reed

Dr. Jessica, a native of Ottawa, Ontario, has benefitted from regular chiropractic care since she was one year old.  After earning Bachelors degrees in Arts and Physical and Health Education at Queen’s University (Kingston), she took one year off to travel overland across the United Kingdom, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan and India. Upon returning to Canada she enrolled at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and graduated in 2004.

In the spirit of community involvement, Dr. Jessica has delivered several talks at the Running Room, the Coastal Community Credit Union, at Wellington High School and at the Nanaimo Community Church . In the past she has also worked with the Vancouver Island Raiders and served on the board of the Crossroads Crisis Pregnancy Centre.

Dr. Jessica continues to strive for clinical excellence through postgraduate education, including study in running biodynamics, low back disorders and shoulder injuries.

Dr. Jessica is currently on maternity leave at home with Nicola, born in September 2008.  In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, and has completed several half-marathons.
