After years of suffering with chronic pain (due to two motor vehicle accidents), Laurah-Lee was looking for alternative therapies to help cope and eventually decided to try Yoga. Once she did, she quickly became aware of the physical and mental benefits, which completely changed her life!
In 2008, she completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Daniel Clement on beautiful Gabriola Island. A few years later, she discovered Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Reiki and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and used these practices combined with Yoga to continue to overcome depression, stress, anxiety & insomnia. After 9 years of teaching over 5000 hours of classes, she is now an Experienced Yoga Teacher (E-RYT).
She teaches Hatha Yoga (relaxation based) and Vinyasa Yoga (flow style – syncing movement with breath). She has learned how to take care of herself first and foremost, which has lead her on a wonderful journey to encourage others to do the same. Her dedication to helping others empower themselves has become her passion and life purpose.
