Yoga Class Options
Big Kids Yoga with Laura (Monday 3:45-4:30 pm–6-class series begins Feb 27 and takes a break over March Break):
Join Laura for this after-school class geared to 8-11-year-olds. Your child will learn relaxation and breathing techniques in addition to a yoga practice that will be fun and rewarding!
Yoga 101 with Jozef (Monday 5:45-6:45 pm):
If you want to learn the basics, or brush up on your poses, this class is perfect for you.
Slow and Flow with Jessica (Monday 7:00-8:15 pm):
In this gently-paced class, Jessica will guide you through a series of postures with a healthy spine in mind.
Yang/Yin with Meg (Tuesdays 6:15-7:15 am beginning March 7)
This all-levels class offers energizing and uplifting movements to start, and ends with a deep, quiet, and introspective yoga that will relax you and send you peacefully into your day. Yang flows are energetic and breath-based and utilize creative sequencing, while Yin yoga is still, passive, and targets deeper myofascial connective tissues.
Evening Hatha with Laura (Wednesday 6:30-7:45):
Cap off your day with a practice that will create balance and open the channels of your body so energy can flow freely.
Prenatal with Laura (Thursday 4:30-5:30 pm)
Join experienced prenatal yogi Laura Jesson Love for a nourishing practice that will soothe you and strengthen your connection with your baby. Enjoy a like-minded community of women progressing through this wonderful journey with you.
Little Ones Yoga (Thursday 3:30-4:00 pm)
Join Jessica on a play-based yoga adventure perfect for imaginative children aged (approximately) 4-8. Each week explores a theme incorporating meditation, practice and savasana.
Restorative/Yin with Jackie (Thursday 5:45-7:00 pm):
Choose your own adventure! Both Restorative and Yin are practices that hold poses for an extended period of time. Restorative yoga is perfect if you are recovered or still recovering from injury. You’ll be supported by blocks and bolsters. Yin is for you if you’re looking to complement your regular practice or if you want to dive a little deeper.
Tiny Ones Plus One with Laura (Friday 10-11 am)
Connect with your baby while practicing yoga! Introduce your little one to movement, breathwork and meditation now that your baby is here. All-levels.
Carpe Diem with Jackie (Saturday 9:30-10:45 am):
Start off your Saturday with Jackie–she offers an uplifting practice infused with love and humour that will set an awesome tone for the weekend.
